You can enjoy modern constructions and historical places located close to each other. South Korea has enormous an cultural and historical heritage. Unfortunately, not all these historical monuments could survived till today, and some of them were reconstructed or restored recently. Flower Festival 2012 I already told about Korea a lot, and introduced to you many beautiful places. And today we will talk about 5 main reasons why you should visit Seoul. Reason #1 Travel abroad is always related to Visa . Many countries of the world don’t allow foreigners to enter their country without special permission, i.e. without Visa. Fortunately, South Korea has an agreement with many countries, so citizens of these countries don’t need to pay extra money to get a visa. If you want to work or study in Korea, or stay here for a long time, so you need to get a visa first. Reason #2 Special events and promotions for foreigners are always looks temptative. Especially, for the last few years, Korean government pay a special at...

Because everyone wants to buy gifts to their friends and family. In one word, a Christmas is everywhere.  However, in South Korea and in the most part of South-East Asia New Year atmosphere is a little bit different.  December 25th and Lunar New Year are significant holidays in South Korea, but not December 31st. Lunar New Year changes from year to year according to the Lunar Calendar. Usually, it is a mid of January or February.  This year New Year in Korea will come on January 25. And Korea will rest for 4 days! Maybe you will think it is super short, especially if we compare winter holidays in Russia. But for Koreans having at least 1 extra vacation day means a lot.  Korean New Year or Lunar New Year is called Seollal (설날). Many shops and public places are usu...
